DISTRIBUTION OF ECONOMIC POWER

Catastrophic Thinking requires the assumption that no one is above the law or can dictate their own personal plan of survival. This is not a reference to preppers or survivalists, whose efforts are to be encouraged. It is rather the aggregation of power which is discouraged in part by anti-trust laws. Already we have private armies and security forces which may act contrary to the national response. In particular power will naturally gravitate to criminal organizations, gangs, and cartels. Then there was Twitter which cut off the free speech of a former President. Such abuses of power must be anticipated, and laws put in place to shut them down and assure that everyone has a free shake at survival.
